Why Remoto Magazine Exists: Documenting the Scene

Remoto Magazine documents the world around scootering: travel, spots, sessions, filmers, riders, failed attempts, ideas, tools and stories often left out of the final video.

The scene is also built through memory. When an event ends, a rider travels, a crew finds a spot or someone learns to film better, there is a story that may help someone else. Remoto Magazine is a place for those stories.

A living archive

Guides, interviews, reviews, event stories, maintenance tips, filmmaking notes and behind the scenes content give scootering more angles than a ten-second clip.

Documentation helps the scene grow professionally. Riders who understand their gear ride better; filmers who understand cameras film better; crews who see how an event was organized can create their own. Shared knowledge strengthens the community.

Remoto as a bridge

Remoto Magazine connects products, culture, events and community. Talk about a bag, spot, edit, trip or idea that moves the scene forward.

Documenting values what's already happening. We want to organize, publish and preserve these stories. Without writing, filming or archiving them, important parts of the scene disappear too quickly.
